The fortress has been the symbol of the Meli Lupi family since XIII century, perfectly settled in a pure green environment.

The castle opens to the outside by a brick bridge and two proud stone lions watching over the access. Behind the quadrangular courtyard spreads the beautiful porch, which is finely decorated in the vaulting with wall paintings. Here it is possible to admire the lunettes on the wall and the armorial bearings on them, which represent all the families that took part in the Meli Lupi peerage. Besides, the castle is quoted as a precious example of Barocco: its halls keep intact the original furniture and gears, most realized and coming from Venice. The current prince Diofebo, apart from his interest in agricultural field, he also vows to the improvements in the tourist activity concerning the castle itself and to the musical field.
