The "Rocca dei Rossi di San Secondo" is dipped into an enchanting park. It has been host of the mail families of the zone around Parma.

During centuries the Rocca has been transformed from medieval fortress into an elegand and charming Renaissance residence. Nowadays it keeps unchanged its long array of paintings. The exellent artworks of those days, at the hands of great artists, led to compare the magnificence and sumptuousness of the fortress to the "medicea" and "gonzaghesca" courts, tightly involved with the peerage of San Secondo. Superb and presumptuous is the hall of "Gesta Rossiane", which is supported by an iconographic setting of more than 1200 meters of pictures, amid whom is worth to be mentioned the "Asino d'Oro di Apuleio representation". The fortress is open all year long, with possibility of guided sightseeing and touristic attractions: night shows, cycle hire and exciting activities. The halls are available for meetings, shows and reception.
